I’m a long-time member of Soho Photo Gallery in NYC where I’ve had a number of solo shows, most recently “Out of the Norm, Part 2” in October 2023. I’ve also been in numerous juried group shows in the U.S. In May 2024, two of my images were in a juried group show, “Out of the Ordinary,” at PH 21 Gallery in Budapest.
Publications: Seventy of my photographs appear in “The Synagogues of New York’s Lower East Side” by Dr. Gerard Wolfe, published in 2013 by Fordham University Press. I just self-published a 64-page book, “Out of the Norm, Street Shots,” which includes 39 images. In 2018, I self-published “The Smokers.” with 37 images that illustrate how smoking cigarettes or cigars affects a smoker’s persona.

Statement
As a New York City-based street photographer, I aim to capture the humorous, unusual and the weird – in other words, whatever is “out of the norm.” I normally focus on human beings, but once in a while, a curious dog captures my attention.
