Statement::

Inspired by Icelandic lava fields and Fairie folklore I wanted to shoot photographic portraits exploring the mutually symbiotic evolution of  humans with the earth and animals. The lava caves were a perfect solution, allowing us to be  inside the earth and use only natural light .Everyone, including baby Leo and the dog intuitively played their part with very little direction.
