Cindy Konits is an American lens-based artist b. 1954 exploring family history, memory, and identity. She was a top 200 finalist in Critical Mass 2024 and she won the Visual Art Open UK, Digital Arts category 2023. She was awarded First Prize in The Photo Review 2022 Competition and second prize The Photo Review 2023 including acquisition by Haverford College Photography Collection. Konits was 25 Best in Fine Art Photography 2019-21 Creative Quarterly Journal Art and Design and she won numerous (15th-22nd) Julia Cameron and Pollux awards. Konits’ work appeared in The In-Between Journal of New Media Photography, PhotoNostrum, Shots Magazines.
