Neal McEwen retired in 2013 from a career as a financial executive with early-stage, venture capital financed technology companies.   In retirement, Neal has expanded a longtime interest in photography to an active pursuit of photographing pretty much anything in nature, as well as anything involving his granddaughters.  He is a member of the Atlanta Photography Group, the Peachtree City Photography Club, and co-coordinator of the Griffin Chapter of the Georgia Nature Photographers Association.

Neal captured his image — “Road to Sunset” — while on a fishing trip in Montana.  He and his fishing buddy were headed home after a long day on the river.  After pulling off the highway, they witnessed a beautiful sunset near the Madison River south of Ennis MT.
