My name is Jim DiCiaccio. I live for photography in Raleigh, NC. I retired and picked up a camera as a walking companion in the waning days of Covid. Little did I know the impact photography would have on me. It simply takes me away and gives me the opportunity to see, savor and study my moments.
I’ve always been on the social periphery, more observer and less participant. Now I know that my spot on the periphery is way more fluid than I knew. This better understanding of myself and my place was helped along with this quote from Paul Graham:
“Learning to see life, flowing and coming at you and moving past you. How to make sense of that never ending flow, the fog that covers life here and now? How do I see through that? How do I cross that boundary?”
Thank you for joining my vision.
