Neal retired in 2013 from a career as a financial executive with early-stage, venture capital financed technology companies. In retirement, he has expanded a longtime interest in photography to an active pursuit of photographing pretty much anything outdoors, as well as anything involving his granddaughters. He is a member of the Atlanta Photography Group, Georgia Nature Photographers Association, and the Peachtree City Photography Club.
