Elizabeth Clark Libert (b. 1982) is a fine art photographer based in the Boston area. Since developing a crush on the magic of photography, Elizabeth has utilized the camera as a tool for reflection and expression.
Elizabeth received a BA from Amherst College (2005) and a MFA from the School of Visual Arts (2010). Her photographs have been exhibited nationally, and featured in various online and print publications such as the New York Times T Magazine, the New Yorker’s Photobooth, Mockingbird, and Lenscratch. Her first publication, Boy Crazy, will be published in the spring of 2023 by Workshop Arts.
Elizabeth serves on the board at the Griffin Museum of Photography and several local philanthropic committees. In her free time, she consumes indie movies, novels and photo books. Some of her photo heroes include Sally Mann, Larry Sultan, David Hilliard, Francesca Woodman, Nan Goldin, Tina Barney, and Alessandra Sanguinetti. She also enjoys live rock, historic homes, skiing, and spending time with her family.
