After retiring from my obstetrical and gynecological practice I found myself in need of a hobby. Initially I wanted to travel since I had not been able to do so while I was working. I purchased a camera to document my adventures. One of my early trips was to Kenya.
It was during this trip that I fell in love with wildlife photography. With time I expanded my interest into other areas of photography.
Photography has made me appreciate all I see. I no longer see only a tree: I see the intricate patterns its bark makes; The way the roots flow from the body of the tree; The way the leaves are moved by the wind; How the sun makes the tree glow; The tree’s relationship to me.
