Located one hour south of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, South x Southeast Farm sits on a 30-acre, 4th-generation farm outside the small town of Molena. The 1930’s barn, hand built by my grandfather “Beck” McCrary, is also a B&B that has come to be loved by many guests. Come stay with us in the quiet countryside and enjoy fine art, walks in the woods, a fireplace out back, a pot-bellied stove inside, and an upstairs loft with a view of the fields and farm.
The upstairs loft is our guest quarters with a double bed, seating, and a writing table.
The back of the loft has big, comfy lounge chairs with ottomans, and overlooks the five acre field backed by 30+ acres of woodlands. The original tin roof and rafters serve as the upstairs ceiling with a new tin roof over that – it’s the one vacation spot where you’ll hope it rains while you’re here! There are books, magazines, and board games available, along with lots of quiet space in which to enjoy them. You have a private modem for your wifi needs, and downstairs is a smart TV for your enjoyment.
Your kitchen complete with microwave oven, toaster/convection oven, electric frying pan, full refrigerator, coffee and tea makers and accompaniments. There are two tables in the living space. An extra large bathroom with a camp shower, and washer/dryer completes the downstairs.
The breezeway entrance was originally where my grandfather kept his tractor. But now it’s our screened porch dining and relaxing area. The big daybed is a great place to fall asleep reading a book or to curl up in the evenings with a glass of wine.
And out back is the patio and raised fireplace – the perfect height to prop your feet up on the hearth and keep them warm in front of a roaring fire.
The Piedmont of Georgia is a beautiful area with lots of fine dining, hiking, historical, and entertainment options. Atlanta, Macon, and Columbus are each an hour’s drive away. All have lovely museums, fine restaurants, historical architecture and nature, and their own personalities. FDR’s Little White House is a 30 minute drive away and a must-see. Callaway Gardens is only 20 minutes away and a great place to spend a day with a picnic, your camera, and a blanket. There’s much more – just let me know what interests you and I will help you make a plan!

Hi, Don,
It says Georgia in the About text, and in the b&b text it says one hour south of Atlanta. I am in Georgia. Thank you.
